Mt. Hope Funks Grove Independence Day Celebration

Please join us at our annual Independence Day Celebration at the Mt. Karen Williams Retiring; Jenny Denham Is New Village Office Manager

After 15 years of serving as treasurer and office manager for the Village of McLean, Karen Williams is retiring. Her last day is this Friday, March 31st. We thank Karen for her many years of dedicated service to the Village and wish her much happiness in her retirement. Congratulations, Karen! We will miss you.

Water and Sewer Rate Increase of 5% in Effect as of December bill

Great Turnout for the 9th Annual Get Your 6.6 on Route 66!

The 9th Annual Get Your 6.6 on Route 66 on August 27, 2022 was a huge success, with 185 registered participants and 156 coming out on race day to complete the route and enjoy food, drinks, and music on the square. CORE of McLean extends their gratitude to all of the sponsors, volunteers, participants, and vendors for making this a successful fundraiser and fun event. We look forward to seeing you all next year for our 10th annual event on Saturday, August 26, 2023! Mt Hope Township Food Pantry Receives Large Frozen Chicken Donation

Tom Ludlam of the McLean Depot got a call yesterday from a customer who is a KB Transportation driver. He had a lot of Tyson chicken products that were refused by a food distributor because the boxes aren't perfect. He wondered if McLean had a food pantry to which he could donate the food. So they loaded it all in Tom’s car and met up with the Mt Hope Township food pantry director, Natalie, to stock the pantry. Nearly filled one of the freezers!

Public Notice: Garbage Receptacle Requirements

The McLean Police Department has observed many residents leaving their garbage cans out on the curb, even days after the garbage has already been picked up. Please be aware that it is against Village ordinance to keep garbage cans out on the curb more than 12 hours after being emptied. Please return garbage cans to your house once they have been emptied.
